Dear New Horned Frog,
Congratulations on your outstanding academic achievement in high school and for being admitted to the Texas Christian University Class of 2011. The faculty, staff, and current students are anticipating your arrival in August, and we believe the next four years will be an exciting time of your life.
You will soon receive a postcard from the Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Association directing you to the Fraternity and Sorority Life webpage for information about Fall 2007 Recruitment. All recruitment information will be available at www.greeks.tcu.edu. I hope you will consider joining the 1,000 other new horned frogs who will participate in this outstanding opportunity to get involved at TCU.
A list of all recruitment policies and procedures is on our webpage, but I wanted to ensure you aware of a two important guidelines that must be followed throughout the process.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited from all recruitment activities.
- Fraternities are not allowed to contact you during Frog Camp or orientation
If a chapter breaks one of these policies, it is a reflection of the chapter’s values, and I would strongly encourage you to consider your future involvement with that specific organization. In addition, please feel free to contact me at 817-257-7281 if you would like to report a violation of this or any recruitment policy.
I am confident you will enjoy your experience at TCU, and I hope you will consider joining a fraternity. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
Go Frogs,
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life
